Great food, excellent staff, and amazing location. It feels like I'm at home whenever I'm here. Beautiful home, feels like you are staying in someone's house, real warmth and charm. Food is simply incredible and the local knowledge is very useful. Can be a little noisy but that's it. Otherwise a relaxing stay in the heart of Gustavus and very clean. Our family just finished a 4 night stay at Gustavus Inn. We cannot say enough good things about the inn and the owners and staff. They really made us feel at home and took care of everything for us so we could just relax and enjoy all the outdoor activities in Gustavus. We have 4 boys and there were all with us. The staff was extremely kind and thoughtful with the children. The boys were in their own room that slept 4 and my wife and I were in a room next door. The rooms were bigger than I expected and everything worked well and was clean. The highlight of the inn was the meals. Breakfast and dinner were the most anticipated parts of the day with amazing food from Dave and Joann and their staff. A lot of the food is grown there and the seafood is all local and fresh. Dave also took care of arranging all our activities everyday and booking everything to run smoothly. One day, on a tour of Glacier Bay, the boat the park service was using to give tours had some mechanical issues and had to head back to the dock after an hour at sea. I gave the Inn a call and they immediately came out to the dock with some sack lunches and bikes for us to ride around Gustavus so we ended up still having a great day. I hope to go back many times and would only consider staying with the Gustavus Inn. Heath C
